The Story of Electronics

Gadgets facilitate our lives in many ways, we learned to live and depend on them sometimes we can’t even remember a time in which we didn’t used them. But in order to satisfy Wall Street hunger for profit, companies developed “programmed obsolescence” a plan that forces consumers to replace electronics periodically instead of simply upgrading parts. This model guarantees a continuous revenue stream and high valued stocks to companies but it has a serious collateral effect the steep increases in trash full of harmful substances or e-trash.
